OAK ROOM

Originally the parlour when the hall was rebuilt in 1533. Francis Baildon had the plaster ceiling done, probably about 1660, his initials can be seen over the fireplace. A copy of his portrait hangs here together with his grandfather William and his descendent General Wolfe of Canada and his mother, Henrietta Wolfe. The room can be used for a small business meeting etc., buffets for functions e.g. Weddings and sit-down meals for 30.
